Details For New First-Year Students

  • We recognize that the impact of COVID-19 may impact your ability to send/request transcripts. We appreciate receiving your final high school transcript to the admission office no later than July 1.
  • We recognize that the impact of COVID-19 may impact your ability to send/request transcripts. Please send documentation of college coursework and AP or IB classes to the admission office, if applicable, as soon as you receive them, or make arrangements to have them sent to Central upon their release.
  • If you intend to register for a course that builds on one for which you have already received college credit, we must receive your official college transcript before you may register for it.
  • Complete your math and foreign language assessments no later than June 1. You may not register for a math course or language course without completing the respective assessment.
    Note: Language assessment is not needed if you did not previously study a foreign language.
  • Complete student employment forms and bring with you to Summer Registration and Orientation.
  • Financial aid staff will be available to answer any remaining questions at the conclusion of morning and afternoon sessions June 9, 10, 11, and July 13.

Details For New Transfer Students

Note: The preferred date for transfer students is July 13.

  • Send final, official transcripts for all college work to the admission office no later than July 1.
  • If you intend to register for a course that builds on one for which you have already received college credit, we must have your official college transcript before you can register for it.
  • Complete your math and foreign language assessments no later than June 1. You may not register for a math course or language course without completing the respective assessment.
    Note: You do not need to complete assessments if you are transferring relevant math or language credit.
  • Complete student employment forms and bring with you to Summer Registration and Orientation.

 

You will receive your student email account information, a more detailed agenda and personalized registration information in the mail prior to your scheduled registration date. You also will receive additional web links to help you with registration through email. Please be sure to review that information prior to your Registration and Orientation day!
