Why Did You Choose Central College? In high school, I had the opportunity to participate in Upward Bound, a pre-college program for high school students that aims to empower students with the skills and knowledge to seek a post-secondary degree. Central has an Upward Bound program, and after spending a summer at Central, I fell in love with the campus and all it had to offer. Afterwards, I knew Central was my forever home. Two months before starting my senior year of high school, I applied and never looked back.
What Is Your Favorite Central College Tradition? My favorite Central tradition is Breakfast of Champions. I can’t think of a better way to start finals week. Having breakfast for dinner served by professors and hanging out with my closest friends is something I look forward to every semester.
What is your favorite thing about Pella? I get to live in a beautiful real–life Hallmark town year–round, and it becomes even more beautiful during Christmas.
