Central RED Society – 500th Anniversary of Luther’s 95 Theses
Join us Tuesday, October 31, 2017 Noon - 1:30 p.m.

On Oct. 31, 1517, Martin Luther posted 95 objections to the Church’s sale of indulgences — declarations that punishment for particular sins had been remitted. Near-legendary accounts of this act and its aftermath abound. This talk attempts to show that the actual historical record is indeed more interesting than fiction.
