Alier Agau ’28 has found joy in the people, classes and athletics at Central College. To him, life on campus is all about developing relationships and pushing himself to reach new heights both in the classroom and on the basketball court.

He credits head men’s basketball coach Conor Riordan, athletic trainer Sadie Baugher Brown ’19 and professors like Liz Golovatski, associate professor of physics, with supporting him as he balances his rigorous workload as a student-athlete. Agau’s advice to incoming Central students is to consider how they want to be involved on campus and leave their mark on the Central community — in the classroom and beyond.
