Journey Scholarship Fund
Ten years ago, we created a new scholarship fund to help students pursue their dreams at Central College. Since then, the Journey Scholarship Fund has awarded thousands of scholarships to students from around the country. This year, 784 students received a Journey Scholarship thanks to our amazing donors!
Annual scholarship support is a top priority for the college. In these challenging times, it’s more important than ever. We would love to offer a Journey scholarship to every Central student in need. Gifts of all sizes help students take mind-opening journeys at Central.
Supporting annual scholarships means having an immediate impact. The college awards funds directly to students each year — an investment that lowers costs for families. Journey Scholarships are crucial in attracting strong students and providing funded financial aid for students with need, which keeps Central in a position of financial strength.
Journey Scholarships are 100% donor funded. We are so grateful for our donors and it warms our hearts when scholarship donors connect with the incredible students receiving their support. The Central family is committed to opening doors of opportunity by making education affordable to all who qualify.
Thanks to our generous donors, a growing number of endowed scholarships and a tuition price of less than $20,000, a Central education is more affordable than ever.

Gifts to the Journey Scholarship Fund allow more Central students to achieve first-class opportunities, conduct research, find mentors, explore the world, discover their passions and become part of a winning team.
At most colleges, the annual fund supports things like light bulbs and other supplies — at Central your gift to the Journey Scholarship Fund goes directly to support students. That means 100% of your gift makes a real difference in the lives of students.
Join other Central family members to help students discover and develop their greatest potential. Gifts made by June 30, 2021, will be applied to Central College’s fiscal year 2020-21.
