Why Did You Choose Central College? I chose Central College because campus immediately felt like home when I visited. I loved the supportive environment, small class sizes and how easy it was to connect with both students and professors. It felt like a place where I could grow academically while also being really involved on campus.
What Is Your Favorite Central College Tradition? My favorite tradition at Central is Homecoming week. I love seeing the campus come alive with events, games and alumni returning to celebrate Central. It really highlights how strong and lasting the Central community is.
What Is your Favorite Weekend Activity at Central College? My favorite weekend activity is spending time with friends, whether that’s going to a campus event, watching a Central athletic game or just hanging out together. Sometimes we’ll explore Pella or grab coffee and talk for hours. It’s a great way to relax and recharge after a busy week.
What Is the Tastiest Meal From Central Market or Fred’s? One of my favorite meals from Central Market is bourbon chicken. It’s always something I look forward to after a long day of classes.
What Is Your Most Memorable Experience at Central College Thus Far? My most memorable moment at Central so far was meeting my best friends during my first year and going to all the different events around campus. I also enjoy going to church with my friends.
What Do You Enjoy About Being an Admission Ambassador? I enjoy being an admission ambassador because I love sharing my Central experiences and helping prospective students picture themselves at Central. It’s rewarding to talk about the things I love at Central and help others feel comfortable during their visit. I also enjoy meeting people from different places and hearing their stories.
What Is Your Favorite Thing About Pella? My favorite thing about Pella is the small-town charm and welcoming community. Everyone is so friendly, and there are fun local places to visit and lots of different events throughout the year. Christmastime in Pella feels like a Hallmark movie.
What’s a Fun Fact About You? I lived in three different states before I turned six and had five surgeries before seventeen.
