Why Did You Choose Central College? I chose Central because of the strong kinesiology department, the many opportunities for community and because campus felt like home. I was excited to get involved in the many ministries Central has to offer, and both Pella and Central’s campus are beautiful year-round.

What Is Your Favorite Central College Tradition? My favorite tradition at Central is the headphone disco during Homecoming week. It is a ton of fun to hang out with friends and meet new people. I have looked forward to it ever since my first one!

What Is your Favorite Weekend Activity at Central College? My favorite weekend activity is definitely going to the square and getting coffee with friends at Iris and then going to church on Sunday mornings. There are a ton of coffee shops around town to try out, and I’ve found an incredible community through my church here in town.

What Is the Tastiest Meal From Central Market or Fred’s? Southwest chicken bowls are hands down the best meal at Central Market.

What Is Your Most Memorable Experience at Central College Thus Far? My most memorable experience at Central so far has to be meeting some of my best friends. Some of my favorite memories from college have come from ordinary nights spending time with new lifelong friends. Going on late night walks, dorm game nights, getting BOGO or just chatting and laughing for hours on end have been some of my favorite memories from college.

What Do You Enjoy About Being an Admission Ambassador? I love meeting new people and getting to know incoming students!

What Is Your Favorite Thing About Pella/Iowa? My favorite thing about Pella is the year-round festivity. From a beautiful campus in the fall and seasonal coffee drinks, to the lit-up square and Kertsmarkt at Christmas time, to the vibrant blooming tulips and Tulip Time in the spring, there is always something to look forward to!

What’s a Fun Fact About You? Both of my parents (and my aunt and uncle) are Central College alumni!
