Join Central RED as Jim Hibma discusses Crossroads of Pella at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, Dave and Ardie Sutphen Common Room, Graham Annex.
Crossroads of Pella started in 1983 during the farm crisis. Over the years it has provided services to the public at no cost. Funding is through tax-deductible contributions from community members. Some of the services provided by Crossroads include counseling, coat drive for families, English language learning and so much more. One of their biggest events is the well-known Klompen Classic, held the Wednesday before Tulip Time.
The Central RED Society is a volunteer-driven, lifelong learning and social organization with an abiding partnership with Central College alumni and friends who share knowledge, talents and experiences. Membership is no longer required to attend Central RED classes.
COST
The cost is $15 and includes lunch. Register by Wednesday, Jan. 29.
