Join us 1:00 – 3:00 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7 for a rewarding volunteer opportunity with Meals from the Heartland, 357 Lincoln St. West Des Moines, IA.
Volunteers will have a hands-on role in the fight against hunger by working together to assemble nutritious meals during a two-hour shift. You’ll work alongside fellow volunteers and Meals from the Heartland staff at various stations to
- Fill meal ingredients
- Weigh completed packages
- Seal meal bags
- Box finished meals for distribution.
