The Hoo-Rah Squad is a group united effort to support Central College. It is comprised of members of the Dutch Boom, Pep Band, Flag Line, Cheer Squad, Dance Team and Dutch Brigade, as well as Central school mascot Big Red. The focus of the Hoo-Rah Squad is to bring school spirit to football games, school rallies or any other college function where it is needed.
Jessica Duffy ’25 was connected to amazing opportunities through the Central College network. During her internship at Des Moines Performing Arts Center under Sara Perez ’02, she gained real-world experiences that helped shape her career aspirations.
