Advice for students seeking a job opportunity: Let everyone in your circle know that you are seeking work! It also helps to keep an ongoing master résumé with everything on it that you can then craft into a specific résumé tailored to each position.
Fun Fact: I’ve been publishing poems off and on since my first poem appeared in “Quercus” (published by my alma mater, St. Ambrose University) in 1998!
I advise students on two fronts: pre-health students considering a career in the health professions and as a class dean, primarily serving students in the Class of 2026.
