    Central College welcomes a quartet comprised of members of the New York Philharmonic, 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, Douwstra Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.

    Soung was a child survivor of the “killing fields” of the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia and emigrated to the United States. He went on to serve in the U.S. military. The 30-year veteran currently serves as the senior human resources specialist for the Iowa Army National Guard.
