About Kathy Korcheck
Kathy Korcheck has taught at Central College since 2007. She teaches all levels of Spanish language, literature and culture and especially enjoys integrating podcasts, short films, music and the visual arts into her courses. Her current research focuses on autobiographical graphic travelogues. She has published on Spanish literature, film and photography in the edited collection (Re) Collecting the Past: Historical Memory in Spanish Literature and Culture (2017) and the peer-reviewed journals Hispanic Issues On Line, Letras Hispanas and the Arizona Journal of Hispanic Cultural Studies. Korcheck has traveled throughout the Hispanophone world, most recently with colleagues and students to Chile and Guatemala.
