Viktor Martisovits has taught at Central College since 1999. At Comenius University he earned a master’s degree in physics, specialized in physical electronics and plasma physics and researched noise properties of a satellite instrument for detection of electromagnetic radiation. As a doctoral student at Ohio State University and a researcher at University of California-Davis, he investigated superconductivity in heavy-fermion materials. His additional interests include applications of physics in engineering and the development of experiments for physics laboratories.
