Data Science
Turn Data into Impact
Data is everywhere — from social media feeds and fitness trackers to healthcare, business and public policy. At Central College, the data science major prepares you to make sense of complex information and turn it into meaningful insights that solve real-world problems.
This high-demand major combines technical skills with creativity, ethical communication and decision-making. You’ll learn how to analyze data, build predictive models and tell compelling stories with data.
Whether you’re interested in sports performance, social trends, healthcare, business, technology or the humanities, data science gives you the tools to explore what matters to you.
Climbing Opportunity
Colorado native Katelyn Freeman ’26 never expected to call Pella, Iowa, her home away from home. Now, she’s conquering new mountains at Central as a student with a triple major, two sports and an active social life. She wouldn’t trade this newest adventure for anything.
