What Is Your Favorite Central College Tradition? My favorite Central tradition is the Lemming Race. You get to see everyone’s fun costumes and watch people race from Geisler Library to the island in the pond! I think this tradition is a great way to get people together and it’s a fun thing to do (or watch) with friends!
What Is Your Most Memorable Experience at Central College Thus Far? A few friends and I took a spontaneous trip to Lake Red Rock for a Bible study. The night was so beautiful and really connected us. I believe it will always be one of my favorite college memories!
What is your favorite thing about Pella? I see a lot of love here. On weekends, I like to go into town with my best friend and we’ll sit in the park and eat our treats from Jaarsma Bakery. While we’re there, I see families spending time together, squirrels climbing trees, elderly couples walking their dogs and smiling at every person they pass by. College is a time of growth and self-discovery, and for me, I want to spend that time in a place where I can see the love in the people who live there.
