Alumni Awards
The Central College family makes a world of difference — big and small — through achievements, service and integrity. We want to recognize and celebrate the impact of our alumni and friends!
Nominate an exceptional Central alum or friend of the college for one of our three prestigious awards, honoring those who embody the spirit of Central and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
Nominations are accepted year-round, with an annual deadline of April 15 for recognition at the Heritage Celebration during Homecoming weekend.

Young Alumni Award:
The Young Alumni Award recognizes alumni who have achieved outstanding success in their career, demonstrated exceptional civic engagement and/or shown strong support for the mission of Central College. This individual exemplifies leadership, service, integrity and/or sustainability through their professional and community contributions.
Eligible recipients are those who have graduated within the last 15 years and have made a lasting impact through their achievements, service and dedication to the college’s values. Current or former members of the Central Board of Trustees are not eligible.
Distinguished Alumni Award:
The Distinguished Alumni Award honors alumni who have achieved significant success in their career, demonstrated exceptional civic engagement and/or shown unwavering support for the mission of Central College. This individual embodies leadership, service, integrity and/or sustainability through their contributions both professionally and within their community.
Eligible recipients are alumni who graduated more than 15 years ago and have made a lasting impact through their accomplishments, service and dedication to the college’s values. Current or former members of the Central Board of Trustees are not eligible.
World of Good Award:
The World of Good Award honors Central alumni or friends of the college who have shown extraordinary commitment to community service through impactful volunteerism, acts of generosity and/or a sustained dedication to meaningful social causes.
This individual has made a lasting, positive impact in their community, enriching the lives of others through their leadership and service. Their selfless and ongoing voluntary efforts inspire those around them, encouraging greater engagement in service and motivating others to follow their example. Through their continued involvement with both their community and Central, the recipient exemplifies the power of giving back and the importance of leading by example in order to do a world of good.
Eligible recipients are alumni or friends of the college who have made a lasting impact through their service and dedication to the college’s values. Current or former members of the Central Board of Trustees are not eligible.
