OLAS is a student organization that seeks to create strong bonds and a sense of community among Latinx and non-Latinx students on Central’s campus.
Previous club activities and events include Lotería Night, Cultural Cuisine dining, tabling for Día de los muertos and sponsoring trips to Iowa’s Latino Heritage Festival.

Central College’s partnership with the By Degrees Foundation fosters community with students from underrepresented backgrounds and builds bridges connecting students to educational opportunities beyond high school.
