Bats, prairies and a passion for students drive Central College Professor of Biology Russ Benedict to explore exciting experiences abroad in his Tropical Ecology class. Benedict takes his students beyond the classroom to visit the diverse ecosystems of Costa Rica and Belize.

Jason ’10 and Tayler Wessels Hassman ’13 support Central College monthly. Loyal donors to the Journey Scholarship Fund, baseball team and Central Club, the Hassman's stewardship allows Central to support students across the curricular landscape.
