Campus Activities: Student Senate, Campus Ministries, Coach’s Assistant
Career Goal: I want to become an elementary teacher with an endorsement in reading, as well as a cross country and track coach.
Why Did You Choose Central College? I knew from the second that I stepped on campus that I was going to come to Central. As cliché as it may sound, it truly did feel like home. The education department was what sealed the deal for me. The Central Teaching Academy is unique compared to other schools. It gives you so much more experience and looks great on a résumé. You grow great connections with your professors. They really care about you, not just as a student, but as a person as well. They want you to succeed and make it known that you are important to them.
What Is Your Favorite Thing About Pella/Iowa? I love the community here in Pella. Everyone says hello as you walk down the street and I love the connections that Central has with the community.
What Do You Enjoy About Being an Admission Student Ambassador? I love being able to show my love for Central, and bring new students here, too!
