Career Goal: I plan on using my degree to work as a corporate project manager, but my dream is to someday choreograph across the country owning and running a dance competition.
Why Did You Choose Central College? I’ve spent every summer since 2015 on Central’s campus for FCA sports camp! Central became a place I was very comfortable at. When I came for Scholar Day I knew it already felt like home and that the style of education was what I wanted. Now that I’m here as a student, I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else.
What Is Your Most Memorable Experience at Central College Thus Far? My most memorable experience was definitely traveling to Daytona Beach, Florida, and winning the National Dance Association Dance Team Nationals my freshman year. It was the first national championship win in Central’s dance team history!
What Is Your Favorite Central College Tradition? I love the Homecoming festivities! The crowning and Lemming Race are so unique and really show off our Dutch pride. The dance held after the Homecoming game is also by far one of my favorite events at Central.
