Our residential campus helps students build strong, lifelong bonds, get involved in extracurricular and leadership activities and enjoy campus facilities, events and amenities.
There’s always lots of fun going on in Central’s residence halls. Resident advisors organize parties, casino nights, pet therapy sessions and other activities throughout the year. Students love to decorate for Homecoming, host local kids for Halloween trick-or-treating and challenge other residence halls to tug-of-war, sustainability efforts, video game competitions and more.
You don’t have to worry about collecting quarters or having any on hand because here at Central, laundry is FREE. You read that right: Wash and dry your clothes, bedding, etc. whenever you want, as frequently as you want, for free!
Cribs: Central Edition
Central offers a variety of housing options, from community and apartment-style living to suites and individual rooms.
While each style of housing may look a little different, the perks are all the same: great storage, free laundry, lounges to hang out or study in, easily accessible restrooms and kitchen areas with air fryers, refrigerators, ovens, microwaves, pizza ovens and more. See the spaces for yourself!
First-Year Housing Options
Gaass Hall is a popular choice because of its central location and spacious rooms. This co-ed residence hall houses men and women on alternate floors, along with a lounge and the best ping pong table on campus.
This all-female residence hall is located next to the pond and Central Hall. Graham features individually climate-controlled rooms with large windows, loftable furniture, common bathroom areas and sinks with a vanity in each room.
In the center of campus, Hoffman is an all-male residence hall featuring loftable furniture and a variety of single and double rooms. You’ll find a lounge on every floor, each with an accompanying balcony.
Also in the middle of campus, Pietenpol is a co-ed residence hall complete with large rooms, newly refurbished bathrooms and a large lounge with a TV and game tables.
Scholte is a co-ed residence hall that offers two different types of rooms: center and suite-style. Center rooms have common bathroom areas and suites have their own bathrooms. All rooms are carpeted with loftable furniture and adjustable thermostats for comfort.
Additional Housing Options
Primarily for juniors and seniors, in McKee, eight students live in apartment-style "pods," which include four separate rooms, a common area, two bathrooms, a washer and dryer. The building is known for its Gold LEED rating — it has solar energy, water-saving facilities and other sustainable features.
Townhouses are perfect for juniors and seniors looking for an alternative to residence hall life. With suite-style living arrangements, all-male, all-female and co-ed houses are available.

Know someone else who’s going to Central? You can request to room together!
If not, don’t worry — Central will find the match for you! We begin hand-picking roommates for all incoming students based on responses to our housing form as early as May. Once admitted, you’ll be invited to fill out your housing form through your Central Bridge. Don’t wait to submit your deposit and lock in your first choice. Be true to yourself, and we’ll find you a new (live-in) friend!
