Students Against Sexual Assault (SASA)

The purpose of Students Against Sexual Assault is to ensure Central College students are aware of the resources available for survivors of sexual assault. This organization strives to prevent sexual assault from occurring and raise awareness by hosting various events that support survivors. Ultimately, SASA’s goal is to ensure all students feel safe and heard on Central’s campus.

SASA programs include the What Were You Wearing Installation, Mentors in Violence Prevention Training and various Late Night Central events focusing on sex education, condom crafts and donation drives for Crisis Intervention Services. These events and initiatives have contributed to a new sexual assault reporting form for Title IX Policy, consent lessons for Intro to College Success classes, improved MVP training and promotion of consent on campus through collaboration with administrators and other student organizations.
