Counseling Services

Central College is committed to the well-being of our campus. In addition to online resources, counseling services are available to all students at no expense when — and before — things start to feel overwhelming.

With two full-time counselors on campus, Central’s counseling center works with students to create plans with each individual’s mental well-being in mind. The team also helps support students through self-improvement, problem-solving, coping with mental health symptoms and managing life transitions.

Counseling services are available 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday–Friday during the academic year (closed for campus breaks). This service is located on the second floor of the Maytag Student Center. Schedule your appointment by contacting 641-628-5656 or counseling@central.edu.
